Fairy tales have always had a great influence on me when I was a kid. I still love the Arab tales very much. In Soviet times, created a lot of good children's movies, stories of Scheherazade have been very popular for film adaptation

It make me think of the Pope in his Pope mobile, but it could be any dignitary or wise man riding a boat-whale for transport.
The animal-boat is very creative, it looks real not like a craft at all. Maybe it is the camel/horse of that region.
Love the angler fish you drew under the water & the flying fish getting ready to leap.

I see the comet leading the way & the bright star, maybe a new King has been born & the bishop rides to bring him greeting.

When I did this strange boat, I was very pleased with the result. It looks very ancient and has a reference to the art of some American and Mesoamerican tribes, but in my interpretation of course. If you notice, a bishop's mitre similar to the head of a fish. It makes sense...

I had not noticed the hat was a fish-head.
