I wonder What the different shaped gifts the male and female figures are carrying signify, and what it is that they are both connected to?

Yes, these gifts are very different, it's not the material things. The shapes of gifts symbolize the difference between man and woman, but they are connected at the same time. It just an allegory!

I have one under way, but it's slow going at the moment, I used to have a lot of my own actions and textures, which for the moment are locked away in my old hard drives, and I can't for the life of me remember how I made them

Ah, the sea horse or white dragon is new. Had not seen this figure in your drawings before.
Very symbolic gifts; his gifts is pointed, where as hers are round.
The vessel by the red deity's feet has a toxic bottle/urn depiction streaming from it which makes sense as some of natures most natural gifts are toxic in gas form.
