In 1875, he was born on Mars.
In 1920, he married M'yri'ah.
In 1950, she gave birth to K'hym.
In 1955, he was transported from Mars to Earth due to a Zeta-Beam accident that took place during an experiment conducted by Dr. Erdel. Stranded on Earth for decades, he disguises himself as a cop in Chicago.
In 2002, he became the hero Martian Manhunter.
In February 2003, he worked with six other heroes to defeat an Appellaxian invasion and ultimately drove them from the planet. The assembled seven heroes then formed the Justice League, with them as founding members.
Thanks to the help of Green Lantern, he finally manages to return to Mars, bringing back memories of Earth, of great interest to one of his nieces. He also finds his wife and his daughter who believed him dead for a long time.
In June 2010, he discovered that his niece M'gann had been hiding on his ship during a return trip from Mars. After contacting her parents and obtaining their permission, he decided to let her stay with him for the time being. M'gann is the daughter of J'onn's sister from an interracial marriage to a white Martian.
On July 4, 2010, he met the sidekicks of Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Aquaman and Wonder Woman. Given Speedy's behavior, he is happy not to have brought his niece.
On July 8, 2010, he attended the birth of the new Sidekicks' team and the addition of M'gann who called "Miss Martian".
On September 7, 2010, he gave Conner the same last name as Clark.
On October 16, 2010, he set up a telepathic simulation for Robin's Team but Miss Martian ruined everything. It was there that he realized that his niece had a more powerful telepathic power than him.
On November 25, 2010, he proposed to include Miss Martian as a member of Justice League. Unfortunately, she was refused because too young.
On February 21, 2015, he stayed at the Watchtower to avoid the zombie outbreak.
