a storyboard type thing that I did in september, based on the colour wheel. Watercolour, ink, and 12 separate sheets of paper, originally.
the blonde is Yoshi. the brunette is Shun. the corpse looking dude on his back in the blue panel is Naoki. the girl in the first two is Sou.

page one has lyrics from koufukuron, page two has lyrics from morphine, both shiina ringo and both translated by the defunct centigrade-j.

I love this. It's sequential art, but it's very open to interpretation.
Do you know of the comic artist David Mack? This reminds me of his work in the newer Kabuki stuff. Particularly in the artful way you've crafted the text.
I appreciate a good gay love-story. My favorite panels in this piece are:
06 ~green~ :It's such a romantic scene and I'm a sucker for nature. The text is beautiful. I say it out loud. It reminds me of one of my favorite love songs "Melody of You" by Sixpence None The Richer.
08 ~yellow~ :Beautiful texture here. An insightful illustration of a difficult moment between lovers. The text moves me as well, I like the rhyming.
11 ~red-harsh~ :There's beauty in the graphic way this is drawn. The negative space is red, the characters are just black and white and the whole image slaps me in the face. The art reminds me of Takeshi Obata's crispy style.
12 ~red-soft~ :It's so scary and a bit ugly; it grabs me by the shoulders and shakes me. The imagery recalls to mind Chuck Palahniuk's written work. It's hard and it makes me think.
I can discover something to admire in every panel and something profound in every collection of words. This is a fine piece of artwork.

I love the color scheme and the way the text is just splayed about.
Most would call it haphazardly placed, but it help make the whole image. That and your beautiful artwork and watercolor skills

Stunning....I cant understand it. I really dont. I mean, every panel you made, is a real master piece....and I really mean it! I mean just look at the first, her kimono(?) are at first textil and then a purple sea....You have wonderfull ideas, and I also like what you wrote. Wow. There's really not much I can say to truly express how fantastic this is. The words have no truly established meaning, yet they say more than I can imagine. I don't know the story, but I can feel it. To be able to create such an unbelievable thing, you should be proud of yourself beyond belief.

The art is very nice, and the lines suit it very well. I like the vague, haunting feeling it gives. Not sure I'm fond of the plot, though -- but since it's so simply portrayed, I'm sure I'm missing a substantial amount here. XD But your art is very pretty -- proportional and emotional and everything. And the colors work so well.

The plot is very, very in depth, and I had a lot of trouble putting it into 12 frames. *laughs* It's written as a full length manga, and that's how it will eventually be. ^^

that is so beautifully emotive. not too keen on the fourth, the vividly blue one, but the teal is amazing. so's the green on the tree branches.and the orangy with the barrel. and omgs the final. and the third to last for that matter. not to mention the second... your colors are divine.
