Description
this is another character painting i did for the gallery, except it turned out crappy because my hand was shaking the whole time. :/ I was so tired and so was my wrist. I'm amazed i finished it, since i'm currently on a med-less cycle for the carpal tunnel. D8anyways, this is shun from Happiness Theory with the ghost of his best friend in highschool, daichi. the scan came out terrible, too.

I really don't think it's terrible at all. I really like it actually! The paint looks great and you can almost tell how badly he wants/doesn't want to use the noose he's got ^^)

This is great because you can really tell that you are gaining in skills in your work. I've watched for a long time. And you said this has turned out bad because you were shaky? Well I can see that you still are gaining abilities in your medium. I like it, in your new work. I still am a much fan of the old. too....:"]

I actually went out and got water colors so I could try your tutorial. You do amazing things with them

Aw man, you suffer carpial syndrome? I had that, if you don't have to take any medicines, just pop in Complex B with folic acid for a month. 2 pills a day. It will help with the carpial like magic!

How do you get the splatter on there without ruining the gorgeous figures and couch? You do it perfectly, whatever it is, on every single piece, it looks like, and I'm not sure whether it's masking fluid/goo or just covering the paper with another piece of paper or something, but I can't cover that well with a piece of paper, personally, like I'll get little droplets underneath it somehow, and that much masking fluid would be a hassle. ...Alright, that last sentence was a bit "omgsugarhighlet'sbounceoffthewalls." We're getting into watercolor in art right now and I'd like to do some splattering in the background, but I'm afraid I'll ruin the foreground of the painting with the splatters in the back. Er, any advice would be immensely appreciated! Love your work!

i just put paper towels and extra paper pieces where i don't want the paint to go-- but i also usually do secondary impact splatter, where it splatters because it hits my hand, so my hand is holding down the paper as well...

the characters have such a creepiness about them, and their expressions are so opposite... i like your style of gesture and your color schemes... just original, right across the board. so, so, lovely.

Your lines are amazingly straight for a shakey hand.
My lines are horrible, I tried drawing Rapidash and it turned out...it's horrible.
