Description

What a better way to kick off the new year as well as Sonic's 30th anniversary than with a stardust culmination of the all of digital illustrations and graphic art that I've been working on during the hardships of 2020! Here's Sonic The Hedgehog in this vibrant city based on Stardust Speedway with influences from Spring Yard Zone and concept art by Naoto Oshima, the original game's character designer. Sonic was the original main focus of this project, but I deceided to recycle some unused assets from overdue or scrapped projects and I decided to fuse them together to make this lively eyesore of a city. Yes, I should have known to use the kanji for the first symbol for "Ikuzo" instead of sticking with hiragana, and maybe I'll fix that in a future update. 2020 has just been difficult for me as it has been for everyone.
