Description
Hand cut collage using original pages from vintage book finds. This is my first try at color water transfers for the roses. They are from a rose gardening book, transfered onto tape and all the paper removed. This just leaves the colored image anything white comes off. I use this process quite often for black and white images and it works well, using it on color you loose a bit of the crispness. But it sure damn beats trying to cut out tiny rose stems and thorns.Related content

Yep. I use wide clear packing tape. Tape my image, cut around as close as i can, soak in water and rub. The paper comes off. You have to work at it and then I use a popcicle stick to get the last remains from the tape. Be careful not to damage your image though.
