GOOD, I CAN'T HANDLE IT EITHER.
She can, after a while at least. Takes her a few weeks to even manage to willingly change the first time, and takes even longer to decently talk. 

It wasn't the brush being smaller (my pencil brush is at an 8px default size), but the drawing was done on a MASSIVE canvas - like 4000x3000 px wide.
I HAVE 8GB OF RAM ON THIS COMPUTER AND I'M TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THEM ALL.

Hahah it's weird for me as well, but I think that's one of the reasons that makes me love the dynamics between them. You expect them to be the opposite, with Zan being the big buff protective boyfriend, and then you get this big doggy meatloaf picking him up and carrying him around like a freaking child.

The berserk form lasts depending on two factors: how much Aura has been depleted, and whether Sheila shifted in it voluntarily or as a self defense mechanism (the latter being an actual mindless berserker for the most part). If Sheila shifted voluntarily then she can also decide when to dismiss it, to a degree - she has to learn how to do it first. In the other case, the form will last until either all threats have been removed, or until her Aura is almost completely drained.
In both cases, if she doesn't dismiss it or doesn't shift back sooner, the form will last until her Aura is at 5-10%, after that her body will naturally revert back to her human form to prevent her from dying of Aura loss.
After shifting at full Aura, the form can last up to 4 hours.

Ooooo, fascinating! Thank you! That makes me wonder, you say the defensive one might last until she gets rid of all threats but considering she needs to re-learn how to speak and revert back when she consciously shifts, I'm curious. If she had to shift defensively she'd be able to at least tell the difference between threats from allies, right? Perhaps like an instinct thing?
Haha sorry for the questions, if there's a separate document I may have missed where I can read about this I'd be happy to.

(also, I had a fanart idea, random question but does Zan scare or get startled easily over things like Halloween pranks?)

She has some degree or self awareness and can distinguish between threats and allies, yes. It can take her a few moments at first, but when she defensively changes she sees threats as targets right away, so whatever triggered her change is the first thing she'll attack. That gives her enough time to recognize where other threats are, and eventually it also makes her recognize her allies and protect them if needed.
Aside from that, she can recognize allies by the sound of their voice and the way they move, so the chances that she will attack an ally are very, very slim. Training also helped her quickening her senses and shortened the time or ally/threat distinction by a lot. So after some training, there's pretty much no chance of her attacking her allies and friends.

(There's not much documentation yet mostly because I'm still writing a LOT about everyone and every power available. I might post the documents on my weebly in the future but for now, I'd rather keep things at a minimum )

And umm he's not much for scares, he actually likes Halloween and chances are he'll go around dressed like a werewolf, a skeleton or a vampire.
The things that terrify him  are moving faceless creatures, so if he were to see someone dressed like Slenderman, he'd probably have a panic attack.

Hmmm so there might be/used to be a split second of tension when she'd be distinguishing allies and enemies, nice!

Ahh okay! haha probably not a good idea then XD My thought was if he was startled enough, that long tail of his might accidentally knock some things over depending on the setting. But I'm sure he'd have a lot of control over that anyway, to the point where it wouldn't happen. Prolly be too ooc. Aw well~

Yes! It can be pretty scary, but it passes also quickly.

Actually Zan's pretty messy with his tail - he never takes into consideration how long it is, so he often bumps into things and / or knocks them off. It's super irritating.
