Because balloons give you EXTRA AIR !!!My entry for ~jsrf 's august contest (and my last thing for the summer :< ). I wanted to something a bit non-canonical and balloons totally fit the bill. As far as the character, I thought only Rhyth or Yoyo was childish enough to deal with balloons. Seeing as I'm not fond of Yoyo (so sue me XP) Rhyth was the one, haha.
And I've drawn dozens of buildings, but everytime it always seems like a challenge to make them look interesting. I guess I'd like to get to a point where I don't have to look up a bunch of reference pictures of buildings to get them to look good. :/

This picture is great! Ha, it's the pedestrian in the purple outfit! I always loved those pedestrians that wore those orange (and sometimes purple) suit outfits (there was a ton of them everywhere in the residential zone) You get to close to them and they're like 'He touched my butt!' Always cracked me up.

Now that I finally made the MegaDev, I can comment on this without feeling guilty,
I love the expressions on everyone, the kid, the onee-san, and the girl her self! and it feels right outta the game so thats a plus too!
