Description
This was a challenging sculpt to complete. I'm still not entirely happy with it but there's not much more I'm capable to do to make it the way I want. That being said, she's all ready for my October raffle (information in link below). She stands 11 inches tall and is made of Super Sculpey and Apoxie Sculpt over a wire armature. I think one day I will try to sculpt her again in a less challenging pose. For sale here: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?… (Last buyer isn't contacting me now for some reason.) SOLD!

I love her expression! This looks like it was quite the challenging pose to sculpt, so I commend you on finishing her and not throwing Chrysalis into a wall. Great work!

Hehe yeah xD I'd like to see you do a Chrysalis. It'd be interesting in your style.

I'll definitely add her to my list! I've been thinking about sculpting her, but I have no idea how I'd make her holes without compromising the armature...

Yeah thats a real challenge. xD You could always paint circles to give the impression of holes though?

Haha, and I could hope nobody will notice. How did you manage to make them?

That's actually what I did xD That's why I suggested it. I think the trick is carving in circle indents and painting them in.

Wow, I couldn't tell! I'll most definitely try that method, then.

And I think someone else did one where they made an armature around where they were putting the holes. Not sure how that's done but it's always an option I guess.
