The Monarchy Nation is one of the closest ally of The Country. Even though the two countries don't share borders, The Monarchy Nation is one of the biggest trade partners and diplomatic allies of The Country. It's not unreasonable that instead of the usual diplomat, The King of The Monarchy Nation appointed his 23 years old daughter, a sweet, kind and graceful Princess Veren Valery, as a diplomat to represent The Monarchy Nation in The Country. And despite her young age, she had the skills and talents, as she was trained from the young age in languages, politic, diplomacy and international relationship. And The Federal Goverment of The Country was more than happy that The Royal Family of The Monarchy Nation sent one of their royal members as diplomat.

However, The Royal Family of The Monarchy Nation had a generations-old secret: they are a family with hereditary, lightning-based, superpowers. It's one of the biggest factor on how The Royal Family raised to power hundred of years ago. Every member of The Royal Family can control lightning to various degree, with The King currently is the most powerful among them.

But why, a king with such literal and figurative powers, have to send her daughter, to The Country?

It's because the princess herself wanted to.

Before this, one day during her life in The Monarchy Nation, Princess Veren stumbled across some victims of human trafficker. Apparently, an evil syndicate had smuggling them by sea into The Monarchy Nation to be sold as body parts in illegal black markets. Enraged by this finding, Princess Veren personally come to the syndicate's ship, and wreck havoc with her powerful, albeit slightly uncontrolled, lightning powers to smite those evil men.

Once she found out that this syndicate had come from The City, the biggest city in The Country, Princess Veren begged for The King to demand investigation on The Country. However, afraid that that kind of demands would upset the trade partnership that the two countries have build up for years, The King refused to do anything.

Knowing that her nation wouldn't raised their voice publicly, Princess Veren insisted to come to The City to investigate it herself. Although The King didn't allow it at first, he realized that her daughter would go to The City with or without his permission. The King relented, with condition: Princess Veren has to represent The Monarchy Nation as a diplomat. This will allow her to be involved deep in the government's matters, while also allow her to live in The City to moonlight as another superheroine of The City.

The King hoped that while becoming a diplomat and superheroine in The City, Princess Veren would come to understand the reason why The Royal Family keep their power a secret, and that even as part of The Royal Family, she can't help everyone.

Princess Veren herself is determined to prove to her father that they can, and should, use their powers and abilities to help the common people, not just to rule them.

And so, Princess Veren come to live in The City, as a diplomat of The Monarchy Nation for The Country. When she didn't busy in her diplomatic duties, she donned a red-yellow suit with the ancient version of her family's crest, and hit the street, protecting the people and investigating the source of high crimes in The City.

She's doing quite well in her diplomatic duties. But in her superheroine's life, she can be over her head sometimes. Especially because she refused to wear a a mask .

Okay, honestly I just want to create a lightning-based superheroine. But when I made her, I instantly thought that she should be some kind of royal family, with how princess-like she is So the obvious thing is to combine them into her background!
