Description
Before the event known as "The Shrouding," Primus, Unicron and the Thirteen Original Transformers were multiversal singularities; beings that existed in every universe and were the same in all of them. Here are every confirmed member of the Multiversal Thirteen from left to right.1. Prima - the first Matrix-bearer and the first Transformer born on Cybertron, and wielder of the Star Saber, a blade capable of unparalleled destruction.
2. Vector Prime - the guardian of space and time, who spent most of his life outside of reality, observing it and occasionally stepping in to help.
3. Megatronus - formerly the guardian of entropy, whose name was stricken from history when he betrayed his siblings and became a Herald of Unicron under the new name "The Fallen".
4. Nexus Prime - the first combiner and the guardian of Rarified Energon.
5. Logos Prime - an enigmatic figure who, operating in the present day under the new name Soundblaster, sought to pass on his incredible powers over time and space to an heir.
6. Micronus Prime - the progenitor of the Mini-Cons.
7. Liege Maximo - a legendary schemer.
8. Solus Prime - the first female Cybertronian and a renowned smith who wielded a powerful forge.
9. Epistemus - a bot renowned for his unconventional intellect.
10. Autonomous Maximus - a lonely sentinel who renounced his name, becoming simply known as the Last Autobot.
11. Solomus - a gentle and kind individual who may or may not be the true form of Alpha Trion.
12. Onyx Prime - the first Cybertronian with a beast mode, in-tune with nature and organics.
13. Alchemist Prime - a student of the elements who is rumored to have established a bar (Maccadam's Old Oil House) on Cybertron, seeking to provide respite from endless war.
As I said, in the last group picture, the initial idea was that the Thirteen would be the same beings in every universe, but as time went on, it proved an unsustainable approach. This was because the groups size, membership and even history became increasingly incompatible with each new telling. As a result, there was a lot of out-of-universe rule-rewriting, bending over backwards quantum mechanics gobbledygook made to justify the differences.
Consequently, the whole idea was eventually abandoned and written out through a story in the Transformers Collectors' Club Magazine. In that story, titled "Another Light," Nexus Prime brought together the Star Saber and Terminus Blade in order to strengthen the barriers between universes in an effort to prevent future crises that threatened the Transformers Multiverse. As a result of this, not only was travel between the different dimensions rendered next to impossible, the singular nature of Primus, Unicron and the Thirteen was taken away. As a result, there are now various totally different versions of Primus, Unicron and the Thirteen's stories spread throughout the different universes, and you don't have to tear your hair out trying to figure out how it's all supposed to fit together.
Personally, I rather like the idea of beings that can go from universe to universe and not having any counterparts, but what do you guys think?
Up next, we get a group shot of a version of the Thirteen that travelled to Ancient Greece and inspired the myths and legends of the Greek gods.
Let me know what you think in the comments below.

So just found out that way back in 2009, there was going to be a comic focusing on the Thirteen written Furman and art by Nick Roche.

Would've been interesting to see considering how IDW used to be during Phase One, though considering Furman was going to write it I have many eye brows raised & a couple of yikes

We’ll never know for sure how it would’ve turned out.

I would've like if Hasbro just said they exist in most universes but not all of them or they did exist in every world but under that universe's origin they're origins were different.

Yeah, well, it involved a lot of out-of-universe, rule-rewriting, bending-over-backwards, quantum mechanics gobbledygook to try and justify the differences. As a result, they abandoned the idea altogether.

Looking back on it, if every universe did have a Primus and Unicorn, even if that cluster or universe is self-aware and more comedic like Legends, does Unicorn still pose a threat?

I think he still would in some capacity or another.

They are all well done especially the idea of giving them a multiverse kind of role.

Yeah, and that's pretty much the role they were supposed to have, but that was taken away because plenty of people thought it was too confusing and convoluted.

Confusing? Try reading the Bionicle franchise where they started in the present and then shift to the past
and then to the future. Now that was confusing but yet fascinating at the same time.

Heh, yeah, I heard there was a bit of retcon whiplash with that.
Still, the powers that be decided a couple years ago on removing the idea of multiversal beings within the Transformers franchise. I don't like that, but that's just how it is.
Also, you know how ROTF said there were only seven original Primes despite most versions saying it's thirteen? Well, Hasbro justified that by saying that only seven of the Thirteen have the word "Prime" in their names. The line-up here reflects that.

Welp that's the world for you.
Yeah, I don't like ideas like that just get taken away.
It ruins more chances to spread the transformers out
further than they did in the 80's but someone
eventually will adopt the idea. If they know about it.
Hm, I don't plan to do it their way. I would say the other
half went off to different worlds to use for resources or
to colonize, like the planets I made.

No kidding.
Same, but I'll understand if not everyone's onboard with the idea. The Transformers Collectors' Club explored the TF multiverse to great effect, but nothing lasts forever, I guess. After all, DC had a huge multiverse with their characters, but because someone decided it was too confusing, they decided to condense it all down into one universe with the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" comic, all as part of an effective reboot.
Heh, your way would certainly add more opportunities to make stories with the remaining members of the Thirteen.
