Xayah is one of 2 lead singers for the goth metal band FF15 ; she is the primary source of the metal scream/growl.
Xayah first met Rakan in a goth bar during open mic night, where she caught his attention with a rendition of Down With the Sickness that included the iconic Disturbed metal scream. The two kept trading songs back and forth in what could be described as both viciously attacking each other and flirting at the same time; culminating in a final duet of Hunting Grounds.
The two have been inseparable ever since and formed the band FF15 .

Xayah is more dominant than Rakan and ends up making most of the important decisions; Rakan is always there in support and reminds her to rest.
