Description

This took a while to make. But, like all drawings totally worth it I had a lot of fun being able to draw out Dark Heat since some of my characters don't often appear as much. Well now is a nice time for one of them to appear and here he is Dark Heat himself. Now I need to work on some other sonic artwork and possibly some Splatoon related artwork sooner or later.

Dark Heat Bio:

Name: Dark Heat

Gender Male

Age: 15-16 (Despite being a experiment)

Species: Hedgehog (with dragon ancestry )

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: calm, charismatic, slick, sarcastic, sly, mischievous, nice, caring, easy going, and quick witted

Status: Taken (Deva is his girlfriend)

Relatives: Deva (girlfriend) Skulline (daughter) Heat (counterpart) Unnamed creator (foster mother )

Powers and abilities: He has fire magic similar to Heat but unlike the original counter part. He can see ghost even attack spirits physically and his fire is all black rather than the regular kind and his powers are given a powerful boost when he smokes can also enter another dream.

Hobbies: Relaxing, spending time with his girlfriend, smoking, reading a book (mostly non fiction )

Occupation: Clone of original Heat, a member of Team Heat (sometimes not often)

Friends: Deva, Heat, Alexis, Rex, Rin, Phoenix, Felix, Ezra, Nicole, Deva, Angel, Hydra, Alice, and Aqua

Enemies: Nightshroud, Grimshaw, and Demo
(he despises him the most )

Favourite drink: Martini stirred not shaken

Weapon: Handheld guns

Like: Deva (his girlfriend), smoking, alcohol, supporting his friends, being accepted into society, a peaceful world, parties, reading, his daughter, relaxing, watching the sunset, acceptance, and sightseeing

Dislikes: Corrupted worlds, being mistreated, being reminded he a experiment, his creator, Deva doing something reckless, failing his friends, discrimination, and being ridiculed

Backstory and origins: Dark Heat is an experiment created somewhere in a unknown area by a deranged Scientist who wanted nothing more but to create a bio weapon that capable of helping her get rid of the dragon prince of Rex world. Despite getting his DNA by words of manipulation little did she realize that she end up using the wrong colour dye. Which, resulted in Dark Heat having his fur all black rather than the typical colour like the original Heat. Due to being a experiment and clone Dark Heat was often ridiculed by many to the point he started to question his existence. Even going as far as killing Heat sister out of spite and yet. Clair never once, shown any sign of hatred towards him. Even as she slowly dies she told Dark Heat that he deserves a chance to live and have a purpose and to one day find someone that will truly understand that he not a bad person to begin with and is lost confused and unsure of the world itself. True to Clair words Dark Heat met a inter dimensional Phoenix bird and demon name Deva who at first had a deep hatred towards humans and wanting to take over the world as she too was a experiment and a part of Nicole along with Angel. However, Dark Heat kind words got to her and eventually both of them slowly fell in love and there relationship only got stronger when there first born child Skulline is born and this what cause Dark Heat to realize that he his own person and he shouldn’t let others that walked all over him make him feel like he some lesser being when he more than just a experiment to many eyes. During his creation because he a bit of a failed experiment, he refuse to take orders from his creator even going in the length in calling her a annoying loud mouthed old lady. Which only, infuriated her creator and was angry the one she created was willing to backstab and make her perish and meet her doom. As, Dark Heat creator was infamous for mixing up animals and making them into actual hybrid like abominations even being expelled in her college for infusing and stitching up two animals thinking the world can only reach a new revolution with her technology alone to extend her beliefs and twisted goals also intentions, until her madness became her ultimate weakness as she try to make Dark Heat realize that experiments will never feel or think or understand actual living beings. But her words, were futile as Dark Heat manage to violently attack her while talking down on his creator that words alone are meaningless to him and he now found his life just ahead of him as his creator has slowly died watching only the eyes of her creation looking down on her. When he not going through missions, you often see him resting in trees smoking to even reading books that have a mystery scenario even the non fiction kind of books he truly enjoys and unlike Heat he has no problem with alcohol or smoking as he found out smoking greatly increases his fire magic to the extend something the original Heat couldn’t do as well as talk to spirits even hurting them if he wanted too. Sometimes he would pay respect to Heat sister Clair and always making sure to place flowers on her gravestone talking to her how his life greatly improved and he can finally look through the future.

Fact of the day: Dark Heat was originally meant to be a full time villain but I didn’t like the idea so instead I like the idea of a neutral good character who understands there are those who feel misguided just like him.
