I finished it this WE and I am happy with the final outcome !!I added the background in color 1st, near the Soldier, cause it represents LIFE and slowly the image lost its colors and became grey shades (The Grim reaper is near) with just soldiers' shadows who are going to die or maybe are coming back from battle line or... are just ghosts or remembrance !!

So nice from you to add your comment and it touch me particularly apt the fact that we lived parallel bad health experiences and YES, I like the result cause it really respect my feelings and the idea I had when I started this project (and I thought to my grand-fathers and grand-uncles who were there in 1916, 1917 and 1918... All wounded (sometimes several injuries), all heroes and all covered with medals but so touched in mind and body. I spent a lot of time & patience to realize this drawing (maybe the longer I ever realized) but believe me, I dedicate it to them and all the courageous soldiers who died because of human crazy politics and revenge both side of the frontier (German soldiers were also good guys and family fathers...)
Be this Century the last one with World wars and conflicts everywhere. Our world deserves peace, fraternity and love. And that's why I draw...
