Description Revisiting my older character Delwin, in a more realistic style. I'm still trying to work out the proportions and range of motion, because of course the physical improbability of centaurs makes them hard to draw. Lots of photo reference of active foals and human kids used, but meshing them together is tricky. Need to work on his face more for a consistent look.

Bottom middle = best. Lots of character in all of these. He looks great already.

Thanks! This was kind of proportion/pose practice. (yay for alliteration?) I missed his face tattoos in the one where he's sitting up, oops...

Do those tattoos mean something specific?

They're writing, having to do with his family being exiled. Not that he really had anything to do with whatever they did wrong, since he was too young. It's his parent's fault.

Grr argh chat bumped me off and won't let me back on...

Or at least a toddler. Maybe two years old or so. I guess realistically that means they'll distort some as he grows... :/ Not sure how to draw that, really.
