Description Just a silly piece done in between other stuff, experimenting with a bunch of grey markers. There's warm greys and cool greys and i wasn't really expecting that, but I'm reasonably happy with how it came out. I know everybody else has done the black and white and red thing first.

Dirk Gently and The Shadow, in this case the older version a friend of mine RPs. I just thought the contrast was funny and then I needed something to do with the Shadow's arm and it came out looking like he's contemplating whacking Dirk over the head to shut him up. XD My buddy Shad and I each play these characters in the Nexus, so they could theoretically meet up. That could go pretty badly.

The Shadow gave me vibes of Harry Dresden, for some inexplicable reason.

Even if B&W and red is an old style it looks good. At least in my book.

I haven't read the Dresden books, but the Shadow is from pulps that were first written in the 30's so a lot of characters get some inspiration from him I guess.

Dirk Gently is from a couple of books by Douglas Adams, the same guy who wrote Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I draw a lot of fanart of him.
