"Hey, Savanna... even after everything you taught me, I can't seem to cry without you."

As much of an asshole Ragnar is, that's just how he's coded. He's coded to be as repulsive as possible, but still abiding to the rules to not kill (unless as self defense, or ordered to) or torture (well, with the direct intention to torture at least).
He cannot be sad.
He cannot apologize.
And he used to be unable to say "thank you" or "please", and rarely complimented ANYONE, including girls, in a socially acceptable manner.
His learning is damaged so he's much, much slower at learning how to be nice than a normal human being.
No one would give him a chance. Anyone who did just used him as a tool and never cared about him as a person.

Then Savanna came in and gave him a chance.
She was the only one that ever understood him and had enough patience to deal with him.
Together, they made so much progress to make Ragnar a better person.

And well... now she's gone.
And all that progress was reverted instantly.
Because she was the only one to Ragnar's program accepted as a sort of 'second master'.
With her gone, most of his 'first master's' orders overwrote Savanna's teachings.

And now, even at her grave, Ragnar couldn't cry.
