He's the Fallen/Liege Maximo. He has no time for political correctness of a gender-less species while he's trying to reflect on his life when being torn apart by a failed ascension.

Say, when and how did they become a gendered species in the TVC? Marvel comics: no gender, BW: gender.

But in regards to the TVC: This story, Lost, touches on the fact that the 13 were the first Cybertronians created by Primus. Solus Prime has always been a member of the 13, and thus fembots have always existed as children of Primus in the TVC universe. They aren't as prevalent (population-wise) as the 'male' (I think the term 'mech' has been tossed around as an opposite of fembot) but they are certainly present. This is why no one bats an eyelid when Airazor and Blackarachnia turn up in Beast Wars, and why we have Venus in the Csirac story.

Okay. It finally penetrated my thick skull that you don't care as much about this issue as I do.

The presence of fembots will continue to be a topic of great interest for as long as Transformers exists. The fact is that Transformers are gender-less -- they have no reproductive organs (and long may that remain so) -- but yet their culture is reflective of male and female forms. It's an intriguing situation for the creators to deal with, and yet the best way it's been dealt with to date is Beast Wars, who dealt with it by simply not dealing with it -- fembots exist and it's not weird. Isn't that the best way to approach it?

Arcee was in the G1 Marvel comics, wasn't she? Or at least the UK portion of it.

Yeah, there she was build on the Earth to appease feminists. It didn't go well. But why was the concept expanded upon by the species itself and how did Arcee become Rattrap's great-aunt?

I think Rattrap was just using a turn of phrase. Don't read too much into it.

That's your interpretation, given that you implemented that Earth languagesAmerican English had an influence on the Cybertronian language.

There's no doubt in my mind that the cultures and languages of the Earth greatly influenced Cybertron's (especially given what happens to the Earth in the TVC...)

Excellent! Β This has to be my favourite page of the tetralogy with so many big players involved and that splash image of Liege Maximo.
