Back in the day, the Marvel comic had fallen behind and they did an adaption of a random cartoon episode to plug the hole in the schedule, choosing The Big Broadcast of 2006. When it came time for that issue to be reprinted in the UK, they included a framing sequence of Wreck-Gar telling the story to an interrogator to explain why it doesn't fit with the comic continuity at all.
