We tried to follow the style of "Spotlight: Soundwave", a story that masterfully synthesizes the two apparently opposite faces of G1 Soundwave.
He keeps his facade of silently loyal warrior, but his mind constantly works to obtain the maximum advantage for him from every situation.
This last aspect is the "blackmailer" one described in his profile and used in the fantastic G1 Marvel UK comics.
