I like the piece but no way would Galvy be able to take big grim down so easily.
however in the bay-a-verse i guess anything is possible.
but it would be a bay-a-verse character unless grimlock was say....YELLOW with blue flames on him j/k

In the Marvel UK comics, the only comics where Galvatron fought Dinobots, the Dinobots were not on the winning end.

In the American comics Megatron treated the Dinobots almost like he would any Autobots. In the American comics the only near-all-powerful Transformers, aside from the giants, were the leaders: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Shockwave, Fortress Maximus, Galvatron, and Scorponok.
Grimlock would get challenged by Blaster. Megatron could defeat Predaking. Megatron could also beart the pipes out the Dinobots.
In the American comics the Dinobots were not known for power, but for tenacity, brutality, lack of mercy, and skill.
And the American Comics Galvatron took it from Furman.

I guess in truth it really depends on who's writing the overall story lol
anybody can pretty much write the tf universe however they deem it fit.
I'm sure with the right writer GRIMLOCK could pummel most into the dirt too, it all about the writing

So, I assume this is Movieverse Galvatron and Grimlock facing off, and on the brink of defeat, Grimlock scans an alt-mode and gets his second wind?

Indeed!! In the new Transformers movieverse the makers claimed they didn't know how to get the dynobots in the movie without making it silly. Afterall, why would a Transformer become an in your face T'Rex rather than a discreet car?
Well I figured that in my little version, Grimlock would be a war general. A great warrior but not the most discreet bot you'd meet... Ssooooo... why would he give a slag about hiding in plain sight...
He'd scan the biggest thing he could and tear a decepticon a new waste pipe!!!
well.... so I imagined... and yes the story is kinda crammed in... but what can oyu do when you've only got a page to do it in...

It isn't overly clear. The art and word balloons are a bit muddled.

It's not just that.
This feels like a tiny fragment of some huge fanfic universe that we're not given ANY info on beyond this page... It talks of weird alliances and generals and lots of stuff that aren't part of any existing universe, and therefore, unknown to me.
It's like reading a random page of a random book I'm not familiar with at all.
