in so many ways-i feel like this person-like i know them.
partly-it is the great shot you took-it leads one to feel a closeness with this person.
but nostly-i just-i feel at one with her-in a weird way.
is that weird?
even her way of dressing-i relate.
your title for this-and one before it-so perfectly fitting.

(ps-don't be shocked-it is likely i will fave your entire gallery!)-i do fave a lot (i am a fave queen!!)
but-seriously-i just would love to have your work in my own home (gallery)
will you ever "do" a book ?
if you do-
i am in for one-definitely.

you know, i felt a connection with her too. i actually have a portrait of her that i'm going to upload tomorrow, probably. her mohawk was awesome, too, which makes for a great photo!

thank you so much for everything, andrea. it means so much. hehe, i haven't considered doing a book, but maybe i will sometime in the future! you'll be the first to know.

oh cool-a book would be great.
yeah..the girl. in my 20's i kind of was into a lot of the punk scene-a bit different back then-but not that different. things haven't changed tooooo much. just-maybe-i liked the music more then. or--it is just different now.
i just-i was in it all-so she looks like a few people who were my friends .
anyway-it is a great shot because the composition of it gives a real feel and somehow makes one see her in a way that is..just-more real.
.

i liked the punk scene when i was in high school. then i moved onto the jam band scene... i fell in love with phish. i'm a hippie at heart.. though i hate to use classifications. i just love the way those bands can pick their instruments like it's their last day on earth. i still, however, have a soft spot for the clash and social distortion...

thanks again.

i never fit..
dont want to!
i love punk and love much of the 60s hippy stuff-stuff now-phish-yes! (well-i love the dead-well before jerry died-truely sad) i know it seems odd to love them all-seems a conflict-but-thats the way my life is too-i fit and dont fit. i have "been at home" in so many SO differnt places/worlds-been a deep part of them all
funny-i am older than you
but in my own way-i still feel young-yet-at the same time-like katie and i talked about this morning-we both agree-we have lived many more lives than our ages.
me 2x her age--but-=that is the other cool thing-we talk like-well-like we are just great friends. i am the same with friends i have in their 60's or so. for me-i just love anyone who is open, has a good mind (but not showy about it) and who is passionate and cares about a lot of stuff-without having to preach to the point of putting others down in order to say what you say.
i believe in debate;talk;and open minded thinking/discussion.
but i also dislike many things-as mentioned in past notes-but-i try to-even with things like predjudice-i try to at least hear where a person speaks from- and hope they do the same.
i am more a sort of peaceful warrior !
but in my own private way.
most of my passion and talk goes in my work. that is my platform.
but also-i love to live-and meet all people-live many lives-have live 1000 and want to live many more.

yes, the dead are my favorite band of all time. and yes... the others are for the birds... jerry was the only one that i really, really cared about. and his voice is the only one i loved. poor jerry. too many cheeseburgers. too bad i wasn't born in time to see jerry... i mean, i was, but i didn't get into the dead until after he died. however, i was lucky enough to be into phish... i mean really, really into them... you could call it obsessed. i saw them about 12 times or so and i got to go to two of their festivals... SO MUCH FUN!!

i can see how you are still young. you act young. and who cares if you're a little older than me? i don't care about age. i'm good friends with many people who are older than me. in fact, one of my best friends is 41, and he just had his second baby... it's fun because i don't want a kid, so i can just play with his!

a peaceful warrior sounds like a great description for the cool, open-minded people who don't take no shit. you're awesome.

so funny-cause-especially in my teens-i LOVED the dead--LOVED. seen them like 10 times. met some great people-always such an adventure and truly great time at their shows. i always tried to get to the outdoor shows above the indoor ones. though-indoor -good too!
yes-jerry WAS the dead. he was so so amazing.
i play guitar-and as a teen-my guitar was junky--the music teacher at the hospital gave it to me-anyway-i covered it with grateful dead stickers and cut album covers and covered the guitar.
ofcourse-the acoustics of the sound was no good then--but i loved it!!!
i have a pic of me with it at 19-it is a trip. i guess i can put it up. i look so weird. bandana-tho that was for the pic-but- i was a total freespiritr-still am.
i just love something in all kinds of music.
funny cause there really is conflict in emotion and-so much..in various types of music-takes you to different frames of mind--like the dead--and then like-say-the calsh-or goth-like the cure or chameleons-or callsical-love beethoven above all--but-they all take you to differnet places of the mind. but i love them all. so it goes. i am simply a freak! hahaa
cool about the age thing.
i feel silly mentioning it at times-i guess-it is just funny-meeting -or talking (on here) w many younger people -but-i guess -that is nothing new--i have always had friends of all ages. at 18-i had older friends too. some my age now.
i guess the reason i felt weird was--now being the older one--i just am more aware of it. but-i dont care about my age at all. it is more about -when with others-it may seem weird. nah. thats silly. who cares..?
again- i have friends older and younger-and i love everyone.
but it is true-i guess in many ways i never grew up-probably never will! altho-i also feel older than my age too in ways of say-experience. so-there is the other side as well.
i do admit-most of my friends ar around my age though-late 30s early 40s--but-who cares.
i can be friends with anyone. with love (romantic love) though-i kind of feel like i need to be with someone close to my age --but-thats diferent.
ok-falala.
silliness
i am glad age doesnt mean much to you though-cause i really can see us becoming good friends--i dont know why-its just--who knows. and i know i'll like hunter-i just can tell by his picture --well-half of him. wow-when i meet him i'll see his whole person. eeewwww-weird stuff huh!?
ok-silly now.
the end
i amble way too much!
ps:
i ADORE bob dylan too! -you have GREAT taste!!!!

rhapsouldize In reply to 2xrayzerase [2007-07-11 22:25:55 +0000 UTC]

yes! i want to see the photo of you when you're 19! and of the guitar. awesome. the dead are the best. i just said to hunter, "i don't think any band will ever be as fucking awesome as the grateful dead". he agreed. right now i'm listening to a show i downloaded with the dead and jefferson airplane!! jorma and jerry... just wow. wow. music is my driving force. the only tattoos i have say "love" on my right foot and "music" on my left foot. hehe. i got it on an impulse, but i knew it was something i'd never regret getting tattooed on me! i love all kinds of music too, except for really hardcore, misogynistic rap and black metal. that just hurts my ears.

and the age thing. it just is. who cares about age? it's the person inside that matters. i guess, though, i agree with you about the romantic love thing... it's better to be on the same page, i guess, like with financial matters and other things that age affects. whatever. who cares. anyway.
yes! bob dylan. best lyricist of all time. he makes me cry. you have great taste too, lady!
