Description
I just found this in my old stuff folder; I made it a while ago for a friend, and since then have had a few extra people ask me how I do the lineless style in Photoshop, so here it is! It's simple, but that's really it; I hope it's usefulRelated content

Oh, Rhianna... I've actually never known before how to make lineless art and therefore fail miserably at it. But hopefully with this tute I'll learn how to -- it's very explanatory and helpful!!
Thanks a bundle! I hope everything's going wonderfully with you

Molly! Hi! How's it going? It's great to hear from you, thankyou for my facebook birthday email, too, so thoughtful of you I haven't actually logged into my facebook account in months, but I did get your message, so thanks!
I'm glad this is helpful for you! I'm sure there are better tutorials out there for this sort of thing, but if it explains a few things then great
I've been very well thanks, just working a lot and trying to get my post-college life organised (yeah, whatever ) How have you been?? I hope everything's going great for you too

I do have one question -- how do I change the opacity of the sketch? Is it possible to change the opacity of a layer?
Things are going well enough, managing to get through high school I'm glad to hear things are good, though, and that's exciting be through with college!

In the long layers panel (which is where you manage the layers for your file, etc), up the top there should be some options for doing things to the layers you're working with. On the left, there should be a drop-down menu that asys 'normal' - that's the blending modes control (it's hard to describe what they do, but have a play around with them sometime if you like, you can get some cool effects and it doesn't do anything to the actual picture) - below the blending modes menu is the word 'Lock:' with a few litle icons next to it - that's for locking various aspects of the layers, for e.g the checkered square locks the transparency, and the padlock locks the whole layer - and on the right of the Blending modes word is 'opacity' - it's just a slider that you drag from 0 - 100%, and control the opacity of the entire layer. I think you can also control the opacity of an entire layer set at once using this tool, which can be handy if you've got your layers in folders.
Hope that helps! If it doesn't, let me know and I'll do a screengrab!
