Description
This is more or less done, I guess, wasn't working out how I'd hoped... Anyway, the woman is drawn with Faber Castell's Polychromos pencils, and the background is drawn with a 005 black Micron pen.Related content

How do you like the Faber Castell Polychromos pencils as compared to PrismaColor assuming you've used both? The work looks beautiful btw, but I was curious because a good friend of mine just bought some but couldn't really put into words the difference.

I definitely prefer Polychromos over Prismacolor pencils now. Through trial-and-error it seemed that Polychromos' colors were brighter and more vibrant than Prismacolor's, plus they seemed to blend more evenly. But most important to me was that Polychromos' leads don't break nearly as easily. I was always breaking tips when drawing with Prismacolors, but that's not really an issue anymore.

Hey, thank you for explaining your experience with them, I was very curious, and although I have a brand new set of Prismas, you can never have too many art supplies
so I feel a littler bit better about buying the Fabers and testing them out.
Thank you!

You do some really astonishing things and this is just one of them.
And you say it just takes a lot of practice, well I have to disagree, there
is an amazing artist in Seattle that has that one little essential thing
called talent. You didn't by chance get her number did you? lol

That's stunning! I love the combination of the two different mediums - it adds a lot of depth to the drawing. Fantastic work!
