Description Pen and ink drawing of a street in Seattle. Drawn with various colors of Microns. On 7th Avenue near Olive, looking South if anyone wants to see the Street View. Based on a photo I took back in December. The street was actually pretty empty in the source photo, I added most of the people in the foreground. Also I exaggerated the light & dark contrast to give it better depth. The photo was taken on a cloudy day, tends to make the colors flat and washed out.

Aww, thanks. I think I went a bit mad drawing this one, it took SO long to do it entirely with pens. But I love details, and you can include so many when using fine-tip ink. I need to make another like this..

I love drawings and paintings that capture a moment in time, with all the subtleties and details included in that moment. I plan to return to these types of drawings, when I'm finished with my current illustrations. You've motivated me to do so!
