I didn't get her. Oh well! I'll try out for the group again when it opens. // So I'm back from my camping trip!
I wanted to get more settled in to drawing again after going a while without any drawing at all. First thing I see in my messages is that TribeOfCrashingWaves is holding kitten try outs and it gave me the opportunity not only to get into a cool group I've been watching since it opened, but also to draw! So here's Wind, and I'm in love with this fluffy little bab already <33 I made some minor changes around the face (the eye markings were giving me some troubles!!) and the stripes since I had some trouble modifying them from the original design to my own style. Hopefully that's ok!

With the goal to make her parents happy, Wind tries her best to do as they say. One mantra they have said often during play is "to be fair and to always tell the truth". Taking this to heart, this she-cat is incredibly honest. She tries her best not to say anything that might hurt another's feelings, but oftentimes something might slip, or she might seem a little blunt. In her heart Wind has good intentions when she's being honest, but sometimes it comes out wrong! During games she ensures that everyone gets the same chances and no one cheats. With three other siblings, Wind knows how difficult it can be sometimes to make sure everyone gets along. And also how annoying it is when all you want to do is play, and everyone else is set on arguing instead. Due to experiences such as these, Wind tries her best to make sure everyone in a group gets along. Even if she's with cats she doesn't quite like that much, she does her best to swallow her dislike enough to keep everyone happy. She's also rather friendly in this regard, preferring to work in a large group instead of on her own. Mellow :: (easygoing, relaxed, patient)
The kitten life suits Wind perfectly. Being able to relax all day, take everything at her own pace and generally do whatever she pleases works out great for her. Some might define her as "lazy" though she doesn't see that as much of a problem. Instead of playing with her siblings or going exploring, she'd much rather have a nap! As lazy as she is, however, she does seem to have more patience than her siblings. But as a kitten, that might not be saying much! Inconsistent :: (contradictory, unpredictable, fickle)
Just like the ever blowing wind, this kitten can't seem to settle on one idea and stick with it. She'll be very adamant about playing a certain game or eating a certain piece or prey, only to change her mind halfway through. In arguments or day-to-day conversations it's common to hear Wind change her opinion a couple times, often contradicting what she had said before. On top of that, she doesn't seem to be very aware that her opinion changes more often than most cats. Impressionable :: (gullible, subjective, naive)
Wind doesn't really see the need to make her own opinions, and doesn't believe that the few she has really matters all that much. Having grown up with a rather large family, she finds that she more often than not has the same ideas as her siblings and parents. Besides, her parents and most of the other tribe members are older than her, and know a lot more. With this in mind, she usually just chooses to believe whatever anyone older tells her, as they're older and therefore probably right in their opinion. Wind is pretty gullible and will believe whatever anyone says without question or thought, no matter how ridiculous it sounds.

Roleplay Example: (from an OakClan role-play with cuddlef1sh )
Beetlekit sat in the shade of the great roots of the camp’s oak tree, his white-tipped tail twitching in annoyance. Some of the other kittens had said that they would play with him at sunhigh, yet here he was, alone. They had seemingly hidden around camp somewhere, but he couldn’t figure out where they had vanished to. The warriors he had asked had absent mindedly flicked a tail here or there in a vague direction, but the heat of the day had made everyone drained and tired. One of the elders said it was the hottest day of newleaf they had had so far, though Beetlekit had no way of telling if they were speaking the truth or not.
Giving a great yawn, the tom-kit stood and waddled back towards the direction of the nursery. If the other kittens didn’t want to play with him, then he would just have to play on his own! Beetlekit glanced around the camp a last time for the other kits before pulling out a small stash of pebbles and dried flowers. In boredom earlier that moon he had collected the objects and given them all names, pretending they were his own personal clan that he ruled over. Rolling the pebbles this way and that, he played out the imaginary cats’ lives as if he were StarClan themselves.
