Wasp by Rice3 is a wonderful piece. Your camera must be magnificent, the detail of the wasp and the... I'm guessing that's bacon? Is just wonderful. The different colors are all displayed beautifully, and the overall look of it is just awesome. The detail truly is very amazing, you can see everything from the detail on the legs to the fine hairs in places on the wasp's body. I'm impressed that you had the courage to get so close to the wasp. I can't get over the audacity you had to get even within 7 feet of the wasp.
As someone who has had many bad experiences with wasps, I have to say, this piece sent shivers down my spine.

Very many thanks for taking the time to write such gracious praise ... to be honest I was just messing around with the mecro function on my little camera and the wasp seemed more interested in the pastry than anything else
