What a beautiful piece of art! Amazing detail, for some reason I love those bricks. There are so many different dimensions to this drawing and they come together perfectly. The cuttlefish are adorable and I love the tiger like pattern on the dog creature. You did a wonderful job.

Aaaah, dude, what can I say. The immense amount of details will keep my eyes busy for AGES, without making the image itself busy or cluttered, I dunno how you do that.
It's like... a wonderful mixture of carboard sculpture and graffiti, even though it's neither! The way you've used white gel pen around the fantastical canine/dragon beast really makes it look as if it's cut out, and then the girl looks like it's on a layer underneath, and then the wall on another. As if you've drawn them all on carboard/wood, and cut around them, and stood them up at different distances against a brick wall.
I make sense.

When I clicked on this, I was worried that it would a digital piece, but it's not and I'm so glad! What did you use, coloured pencils or paint? If you used coloured pencils, are the highlights done with acrylic paint?

Hey thanks! It's mostly watercolour with some colour pencil definition, and the highlights are white gel-pen. No way am I precise enough to get an outline that fine/even with anythin' else, ahh. The lineart and is HB and 2B pencil
I totally recommend Pentel gel pens if you like white dots and outlines everywhere 8D

Mmm this looks wonderful. I love all of the colouring work on this, the colours all work together so nicely ^_^. All of the tones and shades are so neutral and muted. And the shading work on this is really nice and smooth too. Great work on all of the details in the textures and markings as well

Sure, I use WHSmith watercolours and coloured pencils, a Pentel white gel-pen, and HB/2H pencils
