Description
This is the Ink line drawing for a colour digital painting i have commenced.Its based on the feeding scene of HG Wells War of the Worlds novel where the Martians start to snack on human blood.

Skeeter: "Hey! We dont take kindly to your type around here!"
Bartender: "Now, now, Skeeter, they ain't hurtin' nobody."
Skeeter: "No! I wanna know! If Martians need to consume blood in order to survive, then why do they need machines to harvest it?"

Something smites me through this picture... Aren't the the handling machines supposed to soak up the blood of the living while the usual tripods serve as sentinels or "light" attack groups?
