I was asked by a mate of mine to redesign the terraformer fighter featured in the intro sequence of the 1999 space sim game X-Beyond the Frontier, part of the X-Universe.

My mate is an amazing CGI animator and his latest project is a 2007/8 reworking of the intro sequence and if his previous work is anything to go by it will look fekin awesome.

The Terraformers are a race of machines designed to 'terraform' planets for human colonisation, but they took the recall order as an attack on them and they waged a a war against the human race. Their ships were powerful and the 'L' class droid fighter was feared by human pilots.
