I like the bold and striking colours used here! It's fresh and very unconventional. It gives the ship that extra confident if not cocky personality, and makes it look venomous and deadly.

I like this. Looks almost robotic
just had a thought. If you were in a spaceship in space fighting other dudes, wouldn't you want your ship painted black so no one could see you?

I would advise that you don't use the lense flare so much that it is recognisable as such. Have it amplify your light that you allready have in the picture...not to create light where there is none.
That said, excelent texture work with pen and ink. Yay, now submit more.
