Description
... you may see a stranger...It just makes me think Marvel CK Ad.
I'd never tried using the white pencil quite like I did in this piece, to show depth and blur in the sheers. It worked better than I had hoped, especially when viewed from a medium distance. I also lightened the copic shade seen through the sheers a step or two from the sky/clouds in the background. So, for example, while the main night sky is B99, the sky behind the sheers is B95 or 97. Just to provide a subtle but noticeable distinction. I was originally planning on using some brighter reds on the lips and nails, but backed off, as I think it would have drawn more attention than I wanted (the bright reds and greens popping one another). Instead, it's more subtle, and nicely pulls out the soft pink of her cheeks.

Gorgeous! The sheers and the drapey-things around her waist blowing give it a nice sense of movement.

Thank you! I really tried to use those elements to move your eye across the page, like also how her hair follows a similar path to the drapes.

Thanks Debbie! I was worried about doing them right up to the point I started adding the pencil fades -- and they were the last thing I worked on. Whew!
