City ordinance forbids [but secretly allows] candidates from smearing each other with their own misdeeds, whilst through the elective process, they all try but fail to maintain a straight eyebrowed honest, straightforward look. And fail! The truth marks their faces with a slashing blue fact, undeniable.

Man. We could use different colors for different things and go to Congress. One color for lies, one for hypocrisy, one for racism, one for greed... we'd paint rainbows on the Senators and Reps.

Oh no, that would make them look like the rainbow flag, which totally does not represent Congress, a collection of mostly rich and old and white men, whose voting records are mostly in favour of their rich bosses and decidedly not egalitarian or fair or loving of humans other than themselves or their directors.
