yes, lots has gone on here... i don't think you were here when we moved a year ago to be near our younger son and our grandchildren.

i have been busy with happiness lately, getting married for the first time and hopefully the last time of my life 2 months ago with Greyguardian

ah, one of our grandsons had not been born yet - they are one and a half, and four years old now. we were in northeastern Pennsylvania then but now we're in Stamford, Connecticut, not far from New York City. we had been in a tiny town before and this is a city, suits me better.

i remember when it was snowing and you were like all alone in the world

mm-hmm, there were days in Pennsylvania when it snowed and the road was not plowed and all alone is exactly what we were, it was okay
my wife was born in Boston and grew up there and near there, she misses the place we had. but i grew up in the country surrounded by fields, farm, apple orchard... now it's the city for me 
not the size of Manhattan or Brooklyn though... Stamford is just right.
