An The-Art-Of-Collage Exhibition
Open to all group members
In the first two weeks of the Two Piece Exhibition 17 pieces have been entered.
Stop by The Art Of Collage and take a look if you haven't already.

Over the past few months I have noticed some interesting collages done with very few pieces. It seems like the right time to do The Art Of Collage Two-Piece Exhibition.
Here’s the deal:  you may use whatever support or background you like.  But, only two pieces may be glued to that background.  However much of the background remains visible is up to you.
Submit your work to the Two Piece folder. For the sake of harmony, each member may submit up to two pieces to the Two Piece Exhibition.
The folder will close on or about November 12, 2013.

Recycling is a fabulous concept ! But when it comes to certain replacements they better be new ! And certainly not corrugated. Hope you made that clear, Richard !

brand new and not corrugated but in fact perforated so that the bone grows into and fuses with the prosthesis

thanks, Lúcia! that did work well. i found it all crumpled up on my work table and said, "what is this" - instead of throwing it away i uncrumpled it and glued it down!

A darker look than many of your pieces, Richard, and I like the effect, especially as it contrasts with the upper scrap.  But the main draw for me is the scrap with the mirror (?) in it.  The apparent depth creates the illusion that it's in the background rather than the foreground.  And I like the mysterious translucent image at the bottom.  Nice!

(Since this is two scraps on a background, where does the green come from?)

Thanks very much, Vic. The bottom scrap was green on its other side - it was folded up before it was stuck down and some of the green appeared.

The bit of green is actually a nice touch!

Thanks! Yeah, it appeared accidentally but I thought it worked.
