Topographical inclinations on the lee side of the hill. Get out of the wind and feel the light. Very nice.

I love the script (perhaps because it looks so similar to my own unreadable scrawl).

I do miss making such things, especially with found material. Oh, well.

You were good with this kind of scrap too. There isn't time enough for everything though, I definitely understand.

Thanks. Unfortunately it's not just time. If I had the space, I would probably still do some one in awhile.

It does take some room... and the space has to be apart by itself because it's going to be messy - at least if you work the way I do.

I work the same way, with all of the potential elements laid out around me. Perhaps I'll someday again have the space.

That is a great text scrap, isn't it? Someone's notes inside the cover of a novel I bought second hand.

I like what you did with the stain. It caries the flow of the piece quite well, like there's a gap there but there also isn't. and the color theme is wonderful too.Β

Thanks, Diane. I love it when I can make something so simple work. Not always possible.
How are you doing with the storm up there? We're getting just a fringe of it.

Looking like six to ten inches. It is cold! The snow is so light and fluffy you can sweep it off at this point. Doe the cold affect your hip ? My hands hurt in the cold weather, thumbs aren't working very well today .

RichardLeach In reply to ebbing-gale [2014-01-02 18:24:14 +0000 UTC]
I'm lucky, feeling no effects of weather on my hip. We've had a lot of freezing rain down here and it has stopped me from walking outside as I had been doing. I slipped and fell the other day! But wasn't hurt. Black ice - couldn't see it at all.
Crazy low temperature in the forecast for tomorrow - 9 degrees for the high all day!
