thanks, yes, the ink was nice by itself but needed an addition to make it speak.

how it happened, i know - i told Staats i was embarrassed because he's such a fine watercolorist but you have to be able to use trash to do collage the way i do

Staats, I'm embarrassed to say - it's the back side of a grocery list made with a Pilot pen. It was discarded after I bought the groceries - andΒ  I found it in the bottom of my recycling bin this morning, it had gotten wet and bled from other stuff in there.
