I think I have told you this before but here I go again:
I truly admire what you can do with (what to most) may seem like just scraps
I especially like how your work is almost abstract but there is always something (it can be tiny and/or criptic) that reaches out to the viewer and makes sense or just evoques something
You're a master of composition, I wish I could take lessons from you (apart from analyzing your art)

Teresa, you just made my day with that comment, thank you so much. The things you speak of are what I aim at in my work and it is wonderful to hear that I'm getting there and the work is connecting with you. Really big thanks.

I like the black and white very much and the scrap at the bottom side pulls it together. What are those shapes ? just had to ask .

Thanks, Diane! The big background scrap came from a cardboard box flap, and the shapes are where there was adhesive sticking it down to the flaps below it.

Interesting, they were starting to look like those crescent rolls to me so thought I'd ask, neat they were adhesive marks.

I love finding nice or interesting shapes that that were not made with any aesthetic intent.

I think it's weird. Unidentifiable organic shapes can seem scary. Β
