Description The Juggernaut was created in 3D Studio Max 8 and is based on the original concept art and ingame images from C&C 3 Tiberium Wars.

I suppose the most obvious tips is that a lot of the model can be copied/mirrored. Other than that don't try and model anything (like the legs) at the angle they're displayed in the render. Create them at a 0 or 90 degree angle and rotate them once finished. It can be difficult to edit something once you've rotated it to an odd angle.

Also unlike what I've done, use smoothing groups to finish it off. I removed them to show the detail but if you use the correct smoothing you won't need to.

Thanks man It's about 13k I believe.. can't quite remember. Very un-optimized though. I've also done the Juggernaut as you can see in my gallery and have started work on the Sonic Emmiter but not sure if i'll continue with that one.

Very very nice work. I normally have trouble doing mechs, mainly because I think they look too smooth and end up adding lotsa random crap, but you've done an excellent job.

Thanks for the comments, I haven't got a poly count at the mo but I believe it's around 13k unoptimized. I'll double check it later and get back to you

It's the C&C3 version, the games not out yet, another 2 week

Very nice model there ric, keep up the great work, I can't wait to see your stuff in the various mods your with, maybe one day this could feature in some game
