Never thought I would do another fan fusion, but the concept came into my head on a Friday night and it was too tempting to not draw! With the speculations going around about the upcoming Gem Harvest episode, it got me to think about what would a lapidot fusion actually look like. I've seen a bunch other lapidot fusion concepts other people have made in the past, but I wasn't really satisfied with them, so I shook my drawing cobwebs and drew my own concept!I first thought about the powers Peridot and Lapis have, and what kinds of clothes they wore. Peridot (metal powers) wears a full body uniform while Lapis (water powers) wears (what I believe is) a summer dress. Assuming Lapis' power will be more prominent, I thought to myself, what kind of clothing exists that is a uniform and a dressthat is related to water or the sea? A sailor suit!Β Upon that realization, I thought about Β Sailor Moon, and realizing that it was one of the many inspirations for Steven Universe, I decided that it would be a perfect opportunity to draw the fusion around the magical girl theme!

Possible names:
Aquamarine
Aqua- Lapis uses hydrokinesis, and Lapis remembers being trapped under the ocean so long it isn't funny.
Marine- Well, let's put it this way... Peridot acts like she came straight from the army, and Peridot actually had a rough reaction to being split up from Yellow Diamond at first, making Yellow Diamond Peridot's army general.
I only see that as a possibility of combining their personalities into a fusion name.

I think a good name for a Lapis & Peridot Fusion is Aquamarine, simply because all the other fusions (except Stevonnie) have the names of actual gems, so I decided to look on the Mohs Scale and found a gemstone called Aquamarine, and the name fits (mostly Lapis but I guess you can count Peridot as the "Marine" part simply because her outfit) but I am surprised nobody thought of a possible name (some people probably have)
