Now that our lovable small dot is a Crystal Gem, it won't be long till we see her fusions with the others. With hiatus in full swing (again), I've been madly speculating what their appearances and personalities would be. This is the first of the three I started with.For Pearl and Peridot, I believe their fusion would be an unparalleled genius, proficient in both Earth and Gem technology, able to create tech that has the best of both worlds. However, with a cold and indifferent personality, she'd be completely obsessed in research and experiments. Having a super-inflated ego, she'd talk down to others, but would still act kindly towards Steven. Because of this, I believe she'll be on the opposite side of the extreme to Sugilite. While one is maliciously chaotic and impulsive, the other is controlling and calculated.

I suggest the name Variscite for this, Zircon for Amethyst x Peridot, and I suggest a Pearl x Amethyst x Peridot since Peridot can't reach Opal's height. The gem for that one would be Light Aquamarine ( www.clearcutgems.com/images/aq… )

You really did make that "unparalleled genius" image! Just that look on her face is worth gold. I like how Pearl bears her dominant traits... I've a theory on how fusions work using by 'gemnetics' theory xD Currently formulating it, hoping to post within a week. I think it would be an awesome 'guide' for whoever isn't sure about how to combine two gems.
Also, soooo love the Peridot x Amethyst one. She seems like a combination of gymnastics and aviation to me! Cool concepts.

We have matching headcanons concerning their fusion. She'd definitely have supercomputer like intelligence and she'd most likely be an anti-Sugilite in the emotional department by simply running on pure logic as opposed to pure emotion. I wonder what her weapon must be though. Pearl of course has her spear and Peridot only has her knowledge of gem technology. Perhaps a lance or something? Do you have a name for this fusion? Because I forget what the result would be if you combined a Pearl with a Peridot.

In my opinion, Jade seems like the better fit. Emeralds are usually transparent and are relatively easy to break. Jade is much harder, and is more opaque than emerald, playing into her stone-cold personality.

People seem to think that Jade would be the fusion between Peridot and Garnet. Also, I think the centibeetle we saw in Monster Buddies is supposed to actually be Emerald.

Oh wow this is pretty much what I imagined when I mused on what such a fusion would look like! And be like in term of personality. I think you nailed it.
Though I think her four eyes should be aligned in a line to grant her unparalleled field of vision, so she can better analyze a battle situation at all time! And a cool holographic visor in addition to all her screen. Heck I think she'd use illusions when fighting.
