I'm going to be completely honest with you, there are a lot of misconceptions going here, look up body shapes and you'll learn that there are many types of bodies (Hourglass, inverted triangle, banana, pear, etc), this tutorial also focuses too much on stereotypes and encourages people to use them, which is a bad thing, if I were to use this by heart, all my female and male characters would look the same, the way you draw them look too androgynous, not even feminine of masculine. It's a bad example because it doesn't encourage people to experiment, to even make burly, fat men o muscular and fit women. I know you want to imitate the manga style but you can still play with shapes, and even if it's 2d you CAN have shadows that define depth, making the boobs wider because you can't shade sound too much like a lazy excuse. Look for irl references, learn about the muscles and where fat is stored, don't forget that even if a girl is skinny, she will still have a small bump in her belly, not a flat vertical line like you demonstrated, thick eyebrows emphasize the eyes, gives a stronger gaze and it's not exclusive to masculinity, in fact, it helps to contrast the feminine features like a delicate nose or lips.
Before anyone says "but it's my style!" remember the best advice anyone can ever give to an artist is to learn the bases (in this case anatomy) before rushing to establish your own style, Picasso did this and you should too.
