Great shot! Are those the actual colors, or did you use a little artistic license? Just curious...

Those are pretty much the colors...I only brightened them a bit. I remember this old mill from my youth and it was always a funky color of red. As it has aged and this particular side has gotten beat with the afternoon sun, the color has just gotten a bit more odd.

cool photo, i love the colors, they go well together, but it seems a bit lopsided and that throws me off a bit. it seems as though not all the lines would be straight, but ithink the photo would benefit if like the window was straght and the other lines lead towards it.

Thanks for the comments! I agree the photo would be stronger with some manipulation, but I chose to leave it along. The building is leaning severely which is why the window is crooked, but the boards are relatively straight.

There was a leaning building that I passed every week for years & always thought "Next week I'll stop & take a pic"... darn thing fell down before I got around to it!

Very nice and I'm glad you shot it before it was demolished. There was an old church near my home that I really wanted to photograph as the textures in the cracked adobe were beautiful in the morning sun. I kept telling myself, maybe tomorrow, maybe the next day. Well, my procrastination ruined it all as the building was demolished this past Thursday (without any warning - I drove by and it was a rubble heap).

Reminds me of an old house that had been slowly falling over through out the years. Eventually it was just leaning up next to a tree until it finally just started to decay.
