I've used Tumblr for a few years now, and I was getting tired of it and the terrible mindset it creates in people and being exposed to horrible content, I had to cut a ton of people out and exclusively follow art only blogs. There were people I felt bad about unfollowing, some were even friends. But I had to cut any and all sources of unwanted toxicity showing up on my dash, and now I have a manageable dashboard of original artists and generally delightful people to be around.

Yeah it's been a few years for me too, and it's a bit scary to see how it's taken the slippery slope downhill into insanity, particularly with what started as a positive social justice movement. I'm deleting my account there and starting new with JUST art blogs and travel photo blogs now too. I was shocked at how some of my friends ended up treating others there, it is a toxic atmosphere at times. Glad that cleaning up your dash has made it the fun place it was before though! I'm gonna give it my best shot too.
