Not really finished yet. I want more contrast in the face. anyhow here's my prep work. i sketched the picture with pen a couple times before putting it on the pumpkin to narrow in on the proportions. drawing live people are tough X(/Finished product

Whoa, how'd you get the various tones on his face? Is it just light reflecting from the holes on either side, or did you shave a little pumpkin skin off to illuminate it some?

most of his face has no skin, and it's variations of thickness. the thinner the meat the lighter it gets.
