Volume I Chapter II

Back at the World Tournament stadium the bustling crowd of people was full of energy and in great spirits. Behind the scenes 16 finalists were selected to take part in the actual competition. They each drew numbers to determine their placement and order. There would be no second or third places in this brawl. The winner would receive 10 million zeni and get to try their luck against the man who saved the planet. Obviously, since no one in the world could possibly par with Trunks in strength, this would merely be an exhibition match.

The finalists came in all different shapes and sizes. Tall, short, slender, bulky, male, female, hairy, bald, some well-known, others all new faces. You name it, they were there ready and eager to get started. One finalist couldn’t sit still. A young woman with spiky, black hair continually bounced around stretching her limbs like a child. However, her height gave her away. She was considerably tall for a woman, yet attractively fit. She wore a black, long sleeve shirt bearing holes that revealed her broad shoulders. The sleeves reached all the way to her knuckles, and a wide white stripe centered with a zipper ran up the middle of her shirt. She wore dark red pants which wrapped over and underneath her black and white boots.
