Description
More Phoenix Wright fan art. I drew April May again, I reckon the first try went wrong. And I wanted to draw Redd White, so putting April May in the picture was the only thing I could think off.So about the drawing... I liked how it turned out, though I ended up drawing both of them looking very cunning and sly, and while in some way they may be like that, what comes through in the game about them isn't really that.
May is more the forward type which doesn't show having much of a brain most of the time and White has a ridiculous personalaty in a good way, is always flashing his rings and his... "personage". lol
First time doing a wallpaper so it looks really simple and plain. Must try harder. xD

Why, thank you for your kind words and for faving it! And yes, those two are indeed really awesome characters (nothing unsual in the Phoenix Wright series).
Personally, I'd do more fanarts from PW if it wasn't the fact that I can never nail the way they draw the characters (not even close). Which upsets me enough to rage quit. xP

Haha, I have to admit that they tend to be overshadowed in my eyes since the first game had my two favorite villains
haha. I have the same problem. As we speak I'm staring at one of my drawings of Franziska. Its personally a good drawing by my standards, but just doesn't feel RIGHT. I don't know why you get so discouraged though. I really like your art. : D

Aha, I know right? I can't understand what makes it so hard to copy. And it's such a cool style too ;A; . Things went overboard when I started drawing more on a daily basis recently and I tried to sight copy three of them into my sketchbook. Totally blew it. My built up confidence for starting to draw frequently - shattered. ;__;
Funny though, the one I did I like the most is my oldest, first one. That's certainly my best, Phoenix - Pearls (not in a couple kind of way)
I really appreciate your comments but I don't understand what a person who draws as well as you do would watch me. I am not worthy of your praise. ;A; Oh well, you do cool stuff in traditional and like Phoenix Wright, I'll have to watch you as well, har har.
Thanks a ton for watching me and for faving another one of my works. I am touched by your kindness. :'<

Oh lord, overloading can't be good. Every once in a while I just get fed up with art and I dont draw for weeks. Just take it easy and try to work in your comfort zone.
aaaa thank you so much. I love meeting new people in the community. You're too hard on yourself 8D Of course I'd watch you!

Heh, well, that's true. Sometimes I don't feel like drawing, sometimes I do. I didn't start drawing more seriously till like almost two years ago and even then I drew like... every three weeks? xD But I consider that as the time I started drawing since it was then that I realised I sucked at it (flip drawing horizontally = bricks shat). I also started coloring back then. But I digress.
Well, about the overload thing... Hm, well, I'd like to be at least above average on something and art is pretty much the only thing that I feel motivated to get better at (at least for the most part). So yeah, I haez to practice. Though as I said, if I don't really feel like it, I don't do it >:
Darn, another tl;dr from me, soz. ;<

oh pssh its fine. I've been drawing my whole life and I still don't feel satisfied with myself. Just go at it. You're very good. You should see the crap on here when I first joined, its like I magically got talent a year ago.

Noes, and I did and sometimes still do really bad stuff (which I usually scrap) ;__;. Digital is just easier for the most part, a lot easier than traditional. Making something look good in traditional is so much harder. /respect
And don't dare say otherwise, even my canadian cousin which is very optimistic about what I do doesn't win these kind of battles!!! (though against her I have my "you don't know how other anime artists draw, I do" trumph card) >:
PS: I usually warn people about this, but I have the bad habit of replying to every comment most of the times. xP

For me its actually the opposite, traditional comes off far more natural than digital. In fact, I draw most of my digital art using one or two layers only. Just for the sake of making it feel natural to me. xD its just that I go on dA and constantly find digital art better than mine, with traditional, it happens, but I still feel confident in my work.
hahhaa. its cool. you're fun to talk to. I usually reply most of the time, I might be slow at it though OTL

Haha. I draw in a ton of layers and only merge when everything is finished. x)
Well, I guess everyone has their own confort zone. You must practice moar in digital and I must do the same in tradicional!!!1

Kk, let's do that. I don't want to keep getting owned on my weekly drawing class (drawing inanimate, 3D objects, and shade them too - I do that like a blind baby monkey [no offense to them personally]).
