My entry for 's October Autumn Contest .While I wanted to contribute an entry to this contest, I had no idea what I would do. While I live in a place that has wonderful autumn scenery, telephone poles, houses, and signs would also likely be in any scene I tried to capture. But, inspired by one of pearwood 's techniques, I found this tree with its gorgeous red leaves, placed the camera against the trunk, and took the photo. I'd say it certainly paid off.
