Description
Commissioned by ~mewkat-the-kitsuneHer reasons for the stamp:
"1) If americans are going to whine about that they should see what they did to okinawa's civilians in 1945 (They rapped and killed civilians total deaths (in everyone): like 200000
2)Why don't you go and kill off al Qaeda if your so mad. You killed bin laden but not all of them.
3) If you care so much about terrorists maybe you should go and help syria Al Qaeda would love another weakened country to use."
Think about that before you get butthurt over a 9/11 joke and this is a fact, not an opinion or a statement.

Some of them couldn't leave, because they were handicapped.
Some couldn't leave, because they had no means to other than walking.
Some never got a warning, because they were in a nearby town first, and decided to travel to Hiroshima or Nagasaki right when the bombs dropped.
And does a warning make it okay? If I told you "I'm going to shoot you", and shot you, would I get away with it because "I warned you"?
9/11 killed WAY less people than Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
"Would we have thought about helping Japan out if we didn't bomb them?"
That is so stupid I can't see straight anymore.

Just because 9/11 killed less people, that doesn't make it any less wrong! It was a terrorist attack!
We weren't even fightingΒ Al QaedaΒ at the time! They attacked us just because we're allied with Israel!
They attacked us without warning. They didn't even issue a threat!
I never said a warning made it okay. I'm saying we gave them a fair chance to get out of it. I said it once and I'll say it again. If we didn't bomb them, they'd still be trying to take out America! They're now one of our greatest allies, just because we showed them that they couldn't win the war!
Just because you don't understand that that doesn't mean you should go comparing one disaster to another. Both were bad. Can we agree on that?

binarystep In reply to DoJayMi [2013-09-13 23:49:52 +0000 UTC]
They actually DID issue a threat dude
Al Qaeda always said it wanted to take down the towers
Β The More You Know
So we sat there and instilled fear in them. We "put them in their place". That's actually pretty douchey. It's like culling kindergarteners when they look at you wrong, it's just not...right.
Both are bad, but what we did to Japan actually was worse, casualty-wise.

Are you kidding!?
"Unprovoked?" Do your research before spilling your stupidity onto the internet.
Even if Al Qaeda DID do it (very unlikely!), it would NOT be unprovoked. America is MUCH more "powerful" than Al Qaeda alone.
Β
But I am NOT convinced that Al Qaeda did it. Or any terrorist group for that matter.

You're the one who's being stupid.
As a matter of fact I DID do my research. Al Qaeda actually claimed responsibility in 2004. It was too coordinated to NOT be Al Qaeda. They killed about 3,000Β innocent people,Β and forΒ what,Β because we're allied with Israel?!
Who cares if America is "more powerful?!" They shouldn't have done it in the first place! Osama got what was coming to him in 2011!
If Al Qaeda didn't do it, then WHO DID, HMM?! If you're so smart, who do you think did it?

LOTSOFADOPTS In reply to DoJayMi [2013-07-22 14:41:51 +0000 UTC]
Hahahaha!
Just because Al Qaeda claimed responsibility, doesn't mean they actually did it!
Dozens of terrorist groups claimed responsibility for that attack! Does that mean they ALL did it?
Β
Who do I think did it? Well, let's say I believe in a different theory than you do. Again, a theory (like yours), but it seems more plausible than yours.

No, i'm not.
I suppose I just become cross when people misinterpret information. I learned a long time ago that the reason that 9/11 happened was because over in the countries where the taliban/al qaeda is from, they teach their children that America is secretly plotting to take over the world, and that they needed to stop us before we did. The reason they attacked the tower, also, is that in their society, they keep all their important information/currency in one building to keep it safe, but they didn't realize that the USA scatters its information in different locations, so if one place is attacked, there is still another source of it.
So from what they knew about their own culture they applied to ours, and tried to take out our entire society with one hit, not knowing that we hide our info differently than they do.

But not all Americans are to blame for the Okinawa Civilians. We have NO say in what the military is doing anymore, we pick the president that's it.
I'm very hurt by this stamp, whether you meant for that or not, I don't know, but don't blame the entire of America for a few idiots who have no idea what they're doing.
I must say I am ashamed to call myself an American at times, and I am sorry for the things we have done to other countries, but my uncle didn't deserve to die in the 9/11 Terrorist attacks. And it's not fair to blame all of us for those things.
That's like saying all Muslims are terrorists or all Black people are thugs. It's just not right.
But, you're entitled to your opinion, just please, please don't judge a book by its cover.

Just think a little - they supported terrorist group UCK, which is branch of Al-Qaeda. They destroyed 180 of churches and monasteries, screwed God-knows-how-many graves and persecuted 80% of Serbs and non-Albanians on Kosovo...yet, faggot BBC called Serbs "monsters" and "cannibals" just coz they wanted to protect their own. When British said "Scotland is UK", nobody gave a shit.
Now, that same UCK is selling drugs, weapons and organs and funding US government with it. They are making shit around USA and transformed Norway into just another "dock" for them. I think Europe and USA deserved it!

Sometimes I'd wish we'd stop playing the world's saving grace and handle our own bullshit before we go meddling into someone else's. We have a mess going on right now but no "we gotta stop dem dere muslim and islam asshats cuz deh TEEVEE says deys bad ahd we gotta get dere oil! Ahyuk!"

I get sick of hearing the 9/11 stuff too but I think about it as a lot of people died.... country, race, religion doesn't matter. I think demeaning any terror attack or tragedy is sickening. I would say the people that lost family that day think it was pretty bad, just the same as the families that lose loved ones all over the world due to these things.
